Follow new updates and improvements to Onbrdly.

The Onbrdly API is now live

Onbrdly now connects to the rest of your stack.

The Integration API is live, which means you can generate proposal drafts and pull proposal data from your CRM, your automation platform, or any internal tool you already use.

What you can do with it

Generate proposal drafts from anywhere. Send through a company name, your discovery notes, and the brand style you want applied. Onbrdly builds the draft. Generate from scratch, from one of your templates, or styled to a specific brand. Drafts land in your account ready for review, so nothing reaches a client until you send it.

Access your proposals and templates programmatically. List every proposal in your account, pull metadata on any individual proposal, browse your template library, and check the status of any generation in progress.

Drop it into existing automations. Idempotency support is built in, so the same trigger firing twice will never create a duplicate proposal. It sits inside an automation and behaves predictably.

What this unlocks

A deal hits your proposal stage in the CRM, your automation fires, and a draft is generated in Onbrdly without anyone opening the builder.

A discovery call finishes, the notes get pushed through automatically, and a draft is generated while you move on to the next thing.

High-volume proposal workflows across repeat service lines run off a trigger instead of a manual build, every time, in your brand.

How to get started

Open Settings by clicking the cog icon in the left sidebar, then select the API tab. Generate your key there.

Full documentation, including every available endpoint and request format, is available in the API docs here: https://platform.onbrdly.app/api/v1/docs/

New

The next batch of block components is live

Last update we shipped Image + Text as the first block in the component library. This update adds the next 6 on top of it, plus a batch of fixes from your feedback.

Here's what's new…

Six more blocks added to the library

Alongside Image + Text, you now have:

  • Box Bullets

  • Bullets

  • Numeric Bullets

  • Graphic Bullets

  • Arrow Bullets

  • Bubbles

They all work the same way as Image + Text. A ready-built block, already on brand, structured for proposals. You replace the content and move on. No building layouts from scratch.

Notable fixes

  • The progress bar now hides on mobile

  • Fixed pricing table text colour

  • Placeholders on new components were rendering as real text. Fixed

  • Corrected padding parameters on the Bubbles component

  • You now get a notification every time a proposal is opened, not just the first time

  • Dashboard card previews are no longer framed

Why we've been making these changes

Same reason as last time.

AI proposal generation.

Every block we add to the library is another section the AI can build properly instead of falling back on a generic layout. Image + Text on its own wasn't much to work with. Seven blocks is a real starting point.

When you upload a sales call transcript, the goal is a proposal that's already on brand and already using the right block for each section. Less editing before you hit send.

More blocks going in over the coming weeks + first version of AI generation from scratch becomes available next week (sooooo excited for you to try this out 😊).

Claude MCP is built

This is the one we've been quietly working on.

Everything needed for the Claude MCP integration has now been implemented on our side. Once it's fully live, you'll be able to connect Onbrdly directly to Claude and work with your proposals from inside it.

We're putting together a walkthrough showing you exactly how to connect it. That's coming early next week.

Thanks as always for the feedback. Most of the fixes above came straight from it.

NewImprovedFixed

The biggest Onbrdly update yet!

We're delighted to announce a comprehensive update to Onbrdly, introducing exciting new features, branding enhancements, and a wide range of bug fixes.

Here's what's new…

A completely redesigned branding system

We've expanded the Brand Kit with much more control over how your proposals look.

You can now configure:

  • Primary and secondary brand colours

  • Fonts

  • Design settings

This gives you greater control over your proposals today, while creating much clearer branding rules for what's coming next.

A faster, more flexible proposal builder

We've also made major improvements to the builder itself.

Including:

  • Redesigned builder blocks and editing panels

  • Duplicating pages functionality and custom page titles

  • Added page-level settings toolbar to streamline customization needs

  • Enhanced interface with new color picker options

  • A brand new Image + Text component

Alongside dozens of smaller refinements and bug fixes to make building proposals faster and more intuitive.

Notable Fixes

  • Enhanced icon list component functionality with added icon selection capabilities.

  • Addressed logo resizing issue in sidebar preview.

  • Adjusted divider spacing for aesthetic balance.

  • Resolved cover page distortion and overlapping text problems.

  • Numerous other updates ensuring a smoother user experience.

Why we've been making these changes

Everything above has been built with one goal in mind.

AI proposal generation.

Over the coming weeks, you'll be able to upload a sales call transcript and have Onbrdly generate a proposal that already follows your brand guidelines and uses professionally designed components to structure the page.

Instead of the AI creating generic layouts, it'll build proposals using purpose-built components that are designed specifically for proposals.

The new Image + Text block is the first of many, and you can see it in action below…

From now on, we'll be releasing two new components every week, continuously expanding what the AI can work with. The richer this component library becomes, the better the proposals the AI can generate, with fewer edits needed before you hit send.

This update lays the groundwork for what's coming next, and we're excited to start sharing it with you.

As always, thank you for being an early user and helping shape the platform. Your feedback continues to influence what we build next.
